this has been the oddest birthday ever. I've spent the whole day alone, with my doggies. it's fine, its lonely, but i'm not upset. its a little falsh of what its like to be living on your own, unmarried. it excentuates this odd transition that i'm in. i want to be home, but i want to be in d.c. i think i'll celebrate my spinsterhood and watch bridget. |

so i am off to canada tomorrow, and new york city, and boston and montreal!!!! road trip! yeah!!! spring break is here, funny though, as soon as it gets above cold in DC, i leave for snow weather. it'll just make spring that much sweeter when i get back. |

i hate being in situations where you're not quite sure of anything, when you dont have that solid grounding, so it seems like any moment something can change out of something mundane, that or you're just completely over reacting because you dont know what else to think. it was a good weekend though, despite current unfounded confusion.

I love sleeping with boys, it was a good night indeed. with pjs on backwards of course so that i will snow. and guess what! woke up and 12, no snow, at 1, no snow, started walking at 2:30, snow snow snow. so i guess it works. |

well i'm home now, it feels odd, i cant even explain it, its so weird. everything is almost exactly the same as when i left, its so weird when you;re been away for so long and met so many new people its like an out of body experiance being back. thats how it was at VSAA yesterday, it was like i was watching myself walk around talk to people. just odd. my friend imran told me this would happen that it would feel so odd i'd want to go back to school right away. i just need to get over the hump. weird weird weird.

oh my god it seems so surreal, like this would never come
I cant focus on my last final to save my life because i'm just too excited.
i got so emotional when i first saw portland after coming home from south africa that i cant even imagine what this will be like
i might just cry
just three more days, 10:30 on tuesday i'll be home, just three more days...and a final thats worth 30% of your grade..fun

well i;ve began the finals week, which means a whole lot of sitting around "studying" and when i say studying i really mean lying in bed staring at your books think about how much you should open them. none the less after tomorrow i'll have almost a week till my next one, which kind of seems like a waste of time that i;d rather spend home, but it will allow me to get my shit in order.
i'm very excited to come home, but it will be weird watching the people that i live with all day everyday leave and not see them for a month. i hope it naturally sorts out cliches in some relationship, but i'll miss them. you get close to people so much faster in college.
anywho, i have a semesters worth of french to learn in the next 23 hours. love you all, cant wait to see you.

its been a good break- better than expected.
john mariott and sara trimbo made a surprise appearance and have been staying with me the last couple of days, which breaks up the alone time a little bit.
thanksgiving was good- alot different from home it just felt like another day- just one that involved turkey- but it was wonderful having edwards family welcome us all into their home like they did
its good to have other people in the room, even if you';re all doing your respective things.
anywho, didnt get as much work done as i planned but tomorrow is another day
went out to dinner and then to a friends house tonight, it was nice and a change of scenary from the regular crowd
well its late and i should be getting to bed
only 22 days until i come home- yeah i cant wait to see you all |
